(Montel) Coal inventories at northwestern European import terminals have declined to a three-week low over the past week amid signs of slowing generation demand, port data showed on Monday.
Combined inventories at four key terminals in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp (ARA) were assessed last at 6.13m tonnes, a decrease of just 0.04m tonnes from a week ago, according to Montel estimates.
The latest inventory figure was also 0.3m tonnes lower than at the same time last year.
