(Montel) European gas prices rose on Monday amid the prospect of colder weather towards the end of the month that could trigger demand for heating, although fundamentals remained bearish with the continent well-supplied.
The benchmark front-month contract on the Dutch TTF hub last traded up EUR 1.15 at EUR 46.20/MWh on Ice Endex.
In the UK’s NBP hub, the front month last traded up 3.86p at 117.60p/th, exchange data showed.
