(Montel) Nordic electricity demand for green fuels, such as hydrogen, could create additional annual power demand of 74 TWh – about 19% higher than current levels – by 2032, an analyst at Norsk Efuel said on Tuesday.
“Our estimate is based on 64 different industrial projects for production of ammonia, synthetic fuels, hydrogen, methane and other sources of biofuel and green steel,” added Nicolai Haaber Junge in a new study released by the energy supply firm.
