(Montel) German power prices will likely hold within a range of EUR 100-200/MWh following last year’s record peak above EUR 1,000/MWh, said the co-head of Austrian utility Verbund’s trading arm.
“I think that [is] a sensible price level that serves the purpose of getting the energy transition to work, of letting investment happen, of encouraging energy conservation, of ensuring energy efficiency pays off,” Robert Slovacek told Montel at the E-World fair in Essen this week.
