(Montel) The publication of European spot power prices for Saturday has been postponed after initial results for the Netherlands gave prices below the threshold that triggers a second auction, said power exchange Nord Pool.
Power market operators, known as Nemos, reopened order books for 15 minutes from 12:55 CET to conduct a second auction, it added.
Nemos are required to organise a second auction if initial results show prices below EUR -150/MWh or above EUR 2,400/MWh. Prices are capped at EUR 4,000/MWh and EUR -500/MWh.
