(Montel) Spanish gas consumption fell 30% year on year in November to 28 TWh amid lower industrial and gas-fired plant demand, data from gas TSO Enagas showed on Friday.
Conventional gas demand – which includes households and industry – dropped 32% to 18.5 TWh.
Meanwhile, gas use at the country’s power plants plummeted 26% to 9.5 TWh amid mild weather and robust wind generation.
November’s gas consumption was unchanged from October, at 28 TWh.
