(Montel) Spanish energy firm Holaluz has stopped selling to its 70,000 gas customers due to market volatility, it said on Monday.
The affected customers will be reallocated to other suppliers, with regulated tariffs.
This would lead to a EUR 3.9m impact at its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) in 2022, the power company said in a statement.
“The extraordinary and volatile situation in the market, in the current unprecedented context of gas prices, has accelerated this decision,” it added.
