(Montel) European efforts to move away from Russian gas would exacerbate a global tightness in supply of the chilled fuel likely to persist well into next decade, an analyst with consultancy McKinsey said on Wednesday.
There had been around a 50bcm rise in LNG deliveries to Europe this year, versus 2021, putting pressure on already limited availability, said Xavier Veillard, at an energy trading conference in London.
