(Montel) The Croatian government will double the capacity of the LNG terminal on the island of Krk in an effort to create a regional gas supply hub.
The current annual capacity of the floating LNG terminal is 2.9bcm, which, according to government plans, will increase to 6.1bcm.
“Our strategic decision is to double the terminal's capacity and construct an additional gas pipeline for that purpose,“ economy minister Davor Filipovic told a cabinet session on Thursday.
