(Montel) Eon subsidiary Preussen Elektra had hedged 90% of this year’s nuclear power generation in Germany by 30 June, at a price of EUR 78/MWh, the company said on Wednesday.
At the same time last year, the company had hedged 96% of its output for 2021, at a price of EUR 45/MWh. The company’s Isar 2 reactor, which is scheduled to be decommissioned at the end of this year, has output of around 11 TWh per year.
