(Montel) The French government is mulling plans to help heavy energy users sign power purchase agreements (PPA) by offering guarantees to renewable producers, according to a lawyer involved with the project.
“We hope the state will be able to present a draft bill in the autumn to establish a guarantee fund by the end of the year,” Sylvie Perrin, partner at French firm De Gaulle Fleurance & Partners and head of Green Platform, a lobby group aimed at energy transition professionals, told Montel.
