(Montel) Russian energy company Gazprom has sold 8.7 TWh (835mcm) of natural gas to European customers in August auctions to date via its electronic sales platform (ESP), according to data published on Friday.
By comparison, Gazprom in July sold 16 TWh via ESP, a record high this year.
The largest share of the gas auctioned so far this month – around 3.8 TWh – was set for delivery next quarter, followed by around 2.9 TWh for the first quarter in 2022 and around 1.6 TWh for next year.
