(Montel) Amazon has signed a 10-year corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) with Orsted for 250 MW of output, which was the largest deal of its kind in Europe for offshore wind, the Danish group said on Thursday.
It is Orsted's second PPA with the US-based e-commerce group, following a 2016 agreement on the 253 MW Amazon Onshore Wind Farm in Texas, it said.
No financial details were disclosed.
Decision next year
