(Montel) Nordic power futures traded up on Friday amid a slightly drier and colder weather outlook.
The March contract was last seen up EUR 5 at EUR 91/MWh on Nasdaq Commodities, while the Q2 contract stood EUR 3.50 higher on the day at EUR 71.50/MWh.
“Forecasts show slightly drier and colder temperatures in the end of the 15-day period compared to yesterday’s outlook,” said Oskar Hallberg, portfolio manager at Swedish utility Goteborg Energi.
