(Montel) German TSO TransnetBW has started the process of securing 180,000t of hard coal for reserve coal plants, a spokeswoman has told Montel.
“TransnetBW is responsible for additional coal storage facilities in Baden-Wuerttemberg with a total of around 180,000t of coal,” said Annett Urbaczka.
“In this way, we are fulfilling our legal responsibility for system security.”
