(Montel) Italy has extended emergency measures aimed at tackling Europe’s energy price crisis until year end, the government said late on Monday.
The measures included prolonging a reduction in VAT on gas for households and industrial use to the end of December, along with additional tax credits for businesses buying gas and power.
Other measures that had scrapped certain fixed costs on gas bills were also extended to the end of the year.
