Poor infrastructure “disaster” for Egypt’s coal imports

(Montel) Egypt imported more than 3m tonnes of predominantly US thermal coal last year – and an estimated 1m tonnes in January-February – but its import infrastructure is struggling to keep pace with the rising volumes, participants said on Monday.
