(Montel) Germany’s BNA network regulator on Wednesday launched new tenders for onshore wind and solar capacity totalling 852 MW, with a 1 October deadline.

It set a maximum of EUR 63/MWh for guaranteed subsidy payments for wind with an overall auction volume of 670 MW, the BNA added in a statement.

In the previous round, successful bidders received an average price of EUR 57.30/MWh, well above the low of EUR 38.20/MWh seen in November last year.

For solar installations, the maximum price stood at EUR 87.50/MWh, with a volume of 182 MW, added the regulator.

The last solar tender achieved an average price of EUR 45.90/MWh.
