(Montel) European gas prices fell to their lowest level in four days on Friday, as strong storage levels and mild weather reduced the risk premium in the market.
The benchmark front month Dutch TTF contract was last seen at EUR 45.52/MWh, down EUR 0.33 on the day, after hitting EUR 45/MWh earlier, the lowest since Monday.
“The fundamental picture is bearish. We are entering the winter with full storages and relatively mild weather, which is dampening demand. As long as it stays mild, much of the risk premium on the winter contracts will be reduced,”…
